Translations

The genres of translation or translation approach are those related to the concept of dynamic, semantic, communicative and artistic translations. Dynamic attempt to convey messages or ideas in a target language and bring about in the readers of the target language reactions that are essentially equivalent to those experienced by the readers of the source text. The definition of dynamic translation includes three basic terms: (a) the equivalent, which looks towards the source language message, (b) the natural, which looks towards the host language, and (c) the closest, which combines the two orientations based on the highest degree of approximation. The dynamic equivalence approach can be used at the sentence translation or sentence group level. Similar to this concept are idiomatic that resemble the dynamic equivalence approach that rejects form-oriented translations and emphasizes that they should convey the meaning of the original. According to this approach, they should be faithful to the "dynamics" of the original, the "naturalness" of language use and facilitate understanding.
